Qualifications

• Experience leading engineering or facilities teams in hotel/hospitality environments.
• Deep knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, life safety systems and energy management.
• Ability to read architectural drawings for project planning and maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership for all engineering and maintenance operations.
• Develop preventive maintenance programs to optimize facility performance.
• Establish Life Safety protocols and emergency training for staff.
• Maintain records compliant with policies and legal requirements.
• Direct inspections of Life Safety systems for regulatory compliance.
• Identify capital improvement opportunities and prioritize projects.
• Oversee Engineering Department budget and align with financial goals.
• Lead recruitment, training and performance management of the engineering team.
• Participate in Executive Committee discussions and company-wide initiatives.
• Manage relationships with external contractors to ensure quality and timeliness.
