Job summary

Houston Methodist seeks a Director of Business Development to identify growth opportunities, develop business plans, and drive profitability and market share for assigned entities. Responsible for physician recruitment alignment, leadership with Physician Organization, and engagement strategies, in collaboration with CEO and system leaders.

The role oversees department staff, ensures quality and budget compliance, and develops policies that support a safe, compliant, and high-performing work

Qualifications

• Requires Master’s degree in a related field and demonstrated leadership experience.
• Proven five years of progressively responsible staff experience, including supervisory roles.
• Strong ability to develop and execute strategic growth plans, community outreach, and physician recruitment strategies.

Responsibilities

• Directs, develops and implements strategic and operational projects to achieve objectives.
• Oversees staff development, performance reviews and hiring decisions to ensure quality and efficiency.
• Partners with physicians and leadership to drive service line growth and market share in the community.
• Develops and implements marketing and community outreach plans aligned with brand strategy.
• Ensures compliance with regulatory, accreditation and ethical standards.
