Job summary

The University of Pittsburgh is seeking a Director of Graduate Admissions to lead policy, data, and operations for graduate and professional admissions. You will serve as the central expert across schools, the Slate CRM, and the Graduate Studies leadership to ensure compliant, consistent practices and responsive support.

Responsibilities include governance over admissions data, dashboard enhancements, fee decisions, and collaboration with the Provost's office.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 7 years of relevant professional experience.
• Deep familiarity with admissions systems and data.
• Ability to build consensus among a wide range of stakeholders.
• Monitor national trends in graduate admissions.
• Experience with CRM systems and data dashboards.

Responsibilities

• Serve as liaison to the Vice Provost for Graduate Studies on admissions policies and guidelines.
• Vet and implement enhancements to admissions dashboards based on needs.
• Oversee annual application fee reviews and tuition deposit policies.
• Contribute to governance and oversight of graduate admissions and the Slate CRM.
• Oversee annual updates and roll over tasks for the next admissions cycle.
• Manage day-to-day central tasks for graduate admissions.
• Develop and maintain the department website and CGS exemptions process.
• Monitor trends in holistic admissions, international credentials, and AI use in applications.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
