Rambus is seeking a Director of FP&A to lead monthly forecasts, the annual operating plan, and long-term strategic planning in San Jose, CA. This hybrid role reports to the VP of Finance and collaborates with cross‑functional teams to drive accurate financial guidance for executives.

Responsibilities include building forecasting processes, delivering executive insights, and developing models for M&A opportunities while improving planning automation and data integrity.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; MBA/CPA/CFA encouraged.
• 10+ years of progressive finance experience with FP&A leadership in semiconductor/tech.
• Public-company finance experience with earnings materials and investor relations.

Aufgaben

• Lead financial planning: Drive monthly forecasts, annual operating plan, and long-term strategic planning.
• Deliver financial analysis: Analyze results vs plan/forecast; identify drivers, risks, opportunities; recommend actions.
• Manage consolidated forecasts: Oversee revenue, gross margin, Opex, and headcount planning with consistent assumptions.
• Prepare executive and board reporting: Translate results into clear presentations with actionable insights.
• Build automation: Define finance requirements, dashboards, and automate processes with IT and data teams on ERP.
• Support SOP: Provide financial analysis linking demand, supply, and financial performance.
• Strengthen processes and systems: Improve forecast accuracy, planning discipline, reporting efficiency, data integrity.
• Collaborate with Accounting: Ensure timely management reporting and understanding of actual vs forecast.
• Support strategic investments: Develop models for M&A and competitive landscape.
