Job summary

Sentry is seeking a Director of FP&A to own planning, forecasting, and operating rhythms across the company. You will lead the financial model, headcount planning, and Board reporting while partnering with Accounting during close.

This hands-on leadership role requires rebuilding processes, deep analysis, and independence in a fast-moving environment. You will report to the VP of Finance & Strategy and manage an FP&A Manager focused on cloud and AI infrastructure costs.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of progressive FP&A experience
• Demonstrated experience rebuilding FP&A elements
• Experience partnering with accounting during close (BvA, accruals, variance analysis)

Responsibilities

• Own company-wide forecasting, annual and long-range planning.
• Lead budgeting, variance analysis, and board-ready reporting.
• Partner with Accounting during monthly/quarterly close; ensure data integrity.
• Oversee headcount planning and compensation investments.
• Produce executive materials and analytics for decision making.
• Drive cost management across cloud/AI infra and vendors.
• Improve models, systems, and data infrastructure for FP&A.
• Collaborate across Finance, Accounting, People, Engineering.
