Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Director of FP&A to build and lead the financial planning, forecasting, reporting, and analytics function for a fast-growing consumer packaged goods business.

You will partner with the executive team and cross-functional leaders to drive growth, profitability, and strategic investments across DTC, subscriptions, and wholesale channels. A strong background in CAC/LTV, retention, and contribution margin is essential to turning data into actionable insights.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of progressive FP&A, corporate finance, or strategic finance experience.
• Deep understanding of omnichannel business models (DTC, subscriptions, retail/wholesale).
• CAC, LTV, retention, churn, and contribution margin awareness.
• Ability to connect customer and commercial metrics to financial performance.
• Strong financial modeling and forecasting capabilities; Excel/Google Sheets; BI tools a plus.
• Experience partnering cross-functionally with Marketing, Sales, Ecommerce, Operations, and leadership.
• Analytical with ability to communicate insights to non-finance stakeholders.
• Builder mentality to create structure, improve processes, and scale FP&A.

Responsibilities

• Lead annual budgeting, long-range planning, forecasting, and monthly FP&A cycles.
• Build and maintain financial models across DTC, subscription, retail, and omnichannel revenue streams.
• Develop growth and profitability metrics: CAC, LTV, retention, churn, margins, and payback periods.
• Partner with Marketing and Growth on channel spend, ROI, and unit economics.
• Analyze subscription performance, cohorts, retention, and lifetime value.
• Assess retail expansion, pricing, promotions, and channel profitability with Sales.
• Develop scenario analyses for new products, market expansion, and investments.
• Provide leadership with insights on performance, risks, and trends.
• Establish KPIs and dashboards for real-time health tracking.
• Collaborate with Accounting on monthly reporting and variance analysis.
• Lead monthly reviews and communicate results to senior leadership.
• Build scalable FP&A processes and reporting infrastructure.
• Support strategic initiatives, fundraising, M&A, and corporate development.
• Mentor FP&A team members as the organization grows.
