Qualifications

• 3+ years of food service administration and management/supervisory experience.
• Two-year degree in Restaurant Management or related field preferred.
• Senior living experience preferred.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office 365.
• Positive, professional, and service-oriented attitude.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, meet deadlines, and work independently.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain a comprehensive, professional, and upscale culinary services program to create a positive experience for all customers.
• Supervise the Culinary Services Department, including interviewing and hiring; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees.
• Develop, plan, and serve menu cycle programs that meet nutritional/dietary criteria and comply with local regulations.
• Meet or exceed established budgetary and financial guidelines.
• Hands-on cooking, serving and dish washing as necessary.
• Ensure professional, trained, properly uniformed staff.
• Visit residents to evaluate food service quality and appearance and revise operations to improve service.
• Support creating a culture where decisions drive top-line revenue and occupancy.
