Job summary

North American Transportation Management Institute is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to direct maintenance, repair and appearance of facilities, fleet shop, grounds, and security. You will oversee safety, scheduling, vendor coordination and budget adherence across multiple departments.

The role requires 7+ years in maintenance management, a bachelor's degree or equivalent, a valid driver's license, and specialized certifications in ammonia systems and safety procedures.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and related experience.
• 7 years maintenance management experience required.
• Must possess a valid state Driver's License and provide proof of liability coverage.
• Level 1 Ammonia Operation Certification required.
• HAZWOPER 24 hrs Training required; Incident Commander Training within 12 months.
• Refrigeration certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Directs daily work and safety of associates in building, grounds, fleet maintenance, refrigeration, security.
• Advises labor hours and consumables within budget.
• Prepares work schedules including extra days and shifts as needed.
• Coordinates emergency response and safety training with the safety manager.
• Develops budgets, profit plans, and capital requests as required.
• Maintains maintenance schedules for systems, equipment, and buildings.
