Job summary

Fidelity is seeking a Director of Technology Management - Software Engineering to lead multiple engineering teams, shape test strategy, and oversee CI/CD pipelines across cross‑platform stacks in FinTech.

Responsibilities include setting standards for engineering, testing, security, and quality while driving cross‑functional collaboration with leadership and stakeholders to ensure release readiness and delivery excellence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, or a closely related field (or foreign education equivalent) and six (6) years of experience as a Director, Technology Management - Software Engineering.
• Or, alternatively, Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, or a closely related field (or foreign education equivalent) and four (4) years of experience as a Director, Technology Management - Software Engineering.

Responsibilities

• Provides leadership, direction, and oversight to multiple engineering and technology teams supporting concurrent initiatives.
• Defines and enforces engineering, testing, security, performance, and quality standards.
• Communicates technical progress, risks, and outcomes to senior leadership and business stakeholders.
