Job summary

Mercury Systems is seeking a Director of Finance to lead financial planning, reporting, and cost strategy for a dynamic portfolio of programs. This role owns the P&L, investment planning, budget development, variance analysis, and EVMS reporting, supported by a team of finance analysts.

You will partner with program management and leadership to deliver robust analytics, ensure adherence to policies, and drive process improvements in a lean, fast-moving environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree + 10+ years of relevant experience, or advanced degree with 7+ years.
• Experience with Estimates at Completion (EACs) or similar forecasting systems.
• Strong knowledge of program costs and schedules; EVMS experience.

Responsibilities

• Partner with P&L leaders and program management to drive financial performance.
• Lead, mentor, and develop a finance team focused on operational, financial, and program-performance metrics.
• Oversee the development of Estimates at Complete (EACs).
• Ensure the team delivers detailed analytics, adherence to financial policies, robust variance analysis, and Risk & Opportunity assessments in partnership with program teams.
• Provide analysis to support Monthly Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and monthly business review.
