Job summary

Mercury Systems seeks a Director of Finance to lead financial planning, reporting, and cost strategy for a portfolio of aerospace and defense programs. You will own the P&L, budgets, variance analysis, and EVMS reporting, supported by a team of finance analysts in a lean, hands-on environment.

The role is hybrid across Mercury locations (Andover, MA; Phoenix, CA). The team focuses on performance analytics, KPI reporting, and continuous process improvements while navigating government security

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or advanced degree with relevant experience.
• Experience with EACs or similar forecasting systems.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a key partner to P&L leaders, Finance leadership, and Program Management teams.
• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Finance professionals focused on operational, financial, and program‑performance metrics.
• Oversee the development of Estimates at Complete (EACs).
• Ensure the team delivers detailed analytics, adherence to financial policies, robust variance analysis, and Risk & Opportunity assessments in partnership with program teams.
• Provide analysis to support Monthly Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and monthly business review.
