Job summary

Jobot is seeking an experienced Director of Finance to oversee the organization’s financial operations and serve as a trusted advisor to ownership and executive leadership. This role goes beyond traditional accounting and influences strategic decisions across finance, operations, HR, administration, risk management, and business planning.

The ideal candidate combines strong financial leadership with the ability to partner with operations, presenting insights to executives and guiding growth

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Experience in manufacturing finance leadership is required
• ERP experience required and preferred in inventory-based environments
• Budgeting, forecasting, KPI development and financial analysis experience

Responsibilities

• Provide executive oversight of all accounting operations and financial reporting
• Review monthly financial statements, balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports
• Analyze financial performance and communicate meaningful business insights to ownership
• Develop executive dashboards and KPI reporting
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, and long-range financial planning
• Monitor production costs, inventory levels, purchasing trends, and profitability
• Partner with operations leadership to improve efficiency and financial performance
• Support capital investment planning and ROI analysis
• Oversee cash flow management and financial controls
• Collaborate with HR leadership regarding benefits, performance management, insurance, and employee relations
• Partner with outside legal counsel on employment-related matters and risk management initiatives
• Participate in ERP enhancements and process improvement initiatives
• Develop and improve financial processes and internal controls
• Lead, mentor, and develop accounting staff while providing strategic oversight
• Serve as a key member of the executive leadership team
