Job summary

PACS is seeking a Maintenance Department leader to plan, organize, develop, and direct maintenance operations across the facility, ensuring safety and compliance. You will supervise maintenance staff, coordinate with Nursing, Dietary, and other departments, manage vendor work, and oversee safety programs.

Must have 3+ years supervisory experience and knowledge of boilers, generators, and building codes. This role requires reading blueprints, managing MSDS, and maintaining cost records while

Qualifications

• Must have a high school education or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years of supervisory experience in maintenance/plant position.
• Knowledge of boilers, compressors, generators, and mechanical/electrical/plumbing systems.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
• Knowledge of building codes and safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Plan, develop, organize, implement, and direct the Maintenance Department.
• Develop and maintain maintenance policies and procedures.
• Coordinate maintenance services with other departments and supervise outside vendors.
• Supervise safety and fire protection and ensure PPE use.
• Assist in budgeting for equipment, supplies, and labor.
• Maintain records and ensure compliance with surveys, regulations.
