Job summary

PACS Group in Homestead, FL is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to plan, organize, develop, and direct the overall operation of the Maintenance Department in alignment with federal, state, and local standards, and to ensure the facility is maintained in a safe and comfortable manner.

You will coordinate maintenance services with other departments, supervise safety and fire protection programs, and manage staff to provide reliable, continuous maintenance coverage while maintaining proper records

Responsibilities

• Plan, develop, organize, implement, evaluate, and direct the Maintenance Department, its programs, and activities.
• Coordinate maintenance services with other departments (Dietary, Nursing, Activities, etc.).
• Supervise safety and fire protection and prevention programs by inspecting work areas and equipment at least weekly.
• Maintain a productive working relationship with other department supervisors to avoid interruptions in services.
• Review and ensure that outside vendors' services are properly completed and supervised in accordance with contracts/work orders.
