Job summary

The Brian Center of Fincastle is seeking a Director of Maintenance to oversee the entire maintenance department and ensure repairs, safety, and compliance across the facility. You will lead maintenance, laundry, and housekeeping activities, manage budgets, and drive preventative programs.

Responsibilities include supervising staff, coordinating safety drills, handling vendor bids, and ensuring building, grounds, and equipment meet all regulatory standards for resident quality of life.

Qualifications

• Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Requires prior maintenance experience, preferably in a long-term care facility.
• Knowledge of OSHA safety regulations and facility maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Supervise maintenance, laundry and housekeeping staff and manage day-to-day operations.
• Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs and safety drills.
• Coordinate budgeting, bids, and capital expenditure planning.
• Ensure compliance with safety, infection control, and environmental policies.
