Job summary

AA Healthcare Management is seeking a Maintenance Director to oversee a variety of maintenance duties, ensuring a clean and safe environment for residents, staff, and visitors. The role requires supervising maintenance staff, coordinating repairs, and managing preventative maintenance programs.

The position emphasizes hands-on management of plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems, with a focus on cost control and safety compliance across the facility.

Qualifications

• Two years supervisory experience.
• Working knowledge of basic plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems.
• Technical degree from a two-year college or vocational school or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Inspect facility and equipment to determine service needs and perform repairs within scope.
• Assign workers to maintenance, repair, or renovation tasks and obtain bids from outside contractors as needed.
• Follow preventative maintenance schedules to control costs.
• Maintain preventative maintenance records.
• Purchase building and maintenance supplies, machinery, equipment, and furniture.
• Evaluate bids from outside contractors as needed.
• Prepare evacuation and emergency procedures.
• Perform maintenance functions inside and outside the facility.
