Job summary

Redmont Ridge Senior Living is seeking a Director of Maintenance to lead the Environmental Services department and ensure day-to-day operations meet federal, state, and local standards. You will report to the Nursing Home Administrator and drive maintenance, safety, and improvements across the facility.

Ideal candidates will have 2–4 years of management experience, a related degree, and broad knowledge of building systems including HVAC, plumbing, and electrical, with a focus on resident

Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree desired.
• 2-4 years management experience.
• Building maintenance experience.
• Knowledge of City, State and Federal regulations for licensed facilities.
• Fire safety and OSHA standards knowledge.
• HVAC, plumbing, and electrical experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure life safety for residents, visitors, and staff.
• Troubleshoot and repair facility systems.
• Comply with state and federal inspection requirements.
• Collaborate with the Administrator on facility improvements.
• Maintain a welcoming, home-like appearance for all.
• Coordinate with other department heads for operations.
• Perform repairs on electrical, plumbing, heating and cooling systems.
• Maintain fire alarm and emergency generator systems.
• Supervise environmental services staff and orientation.
• Keep required records and budgets up to date.
• Remain on-call for emergencies and drills.
• Coordinate contracted services for maintenance.
• Ensure life safety, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and security systems function.
