Job summary

JLL is seeking a Senior Director of Facilities & Engineering in South San Francisco to lead IFM delivery, oversee high-performance teams, and ensure safe, compliant, and energy-efficient facilities across North American sites.

The role focuses on strategic leadership, budget management, and ongoing improvements in reliability, asset performance, and client satisfaction within GMP environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent; Business and/or Engineering degree preferred.
• 10+ years of experience in project, maintenance, and operations within GMP/GXP/regulated spaces and processes.
• Proven people management skills with ability to oversee operations and maintenance and collaborate with senior site client and project managers.
• Strong knowledge of safety, reliability, root cause analysis, agile, lean, Six Sigma, and sustainability.

Responsibilities

• Lead facility managers, engineers, and staff across multiple North American sites with a Safety First culture.
• Oversee Integrated Facilities Management (IFM) service delivery and reliability maintenance to minimize downtime.
• Develop annual operating budgets, manage expenses, and provide variance analyses and forecasts.
• Ensure GMP/EHS, SLA, KPI, and SOW compliance with audit readiness across portfolios.
• Manage client relationships and communicate progress and value of reliability programs.
