Job summary

Aimbridge Hospitality is seeking a Dual Director Engineering to oversee facilities maintenance for multiple properties in the Cincinnati area. You will direct a maintenance team, develop preventive maintenance schedules, and ensure compliance with policies and regulations.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of experience in hotel maintenance or a related field, with strong leadership, budgeting, and problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required with 5+ years of management experience.
• Hotel or related field experience required.
• Trades licensure preferred (plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, etc.).
• Valid driver's license with acceptable MVR.
• Strong communication and problem-solving under pressure.
• Ability to interpret financial information and work with budgets.
• Ability to work unsupervised.
• Ability to manage a team and HR actions (hiring, performance management, termination).
• Demonstrated discretion and independent judgement.

Responsibilities

• Develops and implements maintenance policies and prioritizes requests.
• Develops schedules for preventive maintenance and ensures facilities are inspected regularly.
• Ensures repairs comply with internal policies and regulations; maintains records of repairs.
• Leads and directs the maintenance staff and handles personnel actions.
• Contributes to strategic planning, direction, and goal setting with senior management.
• Establishes departmental policies, practices, and procedures with significant impact.
• Approaches guests and employees in a courteous, service-oriented manner.
• Maintains attendance per Aimbridge Hospitality standards and brand requirements.
• Ensures safe and efficient hotel operations and proper two-way radio etiquette.
• Performs additional duties as requested by management.
