Job summary

The role demands strong leadership, deep engineering knowledge, and a hands-on approach to keep guest areas and back‑of‑house systems running smoothly.

The director will supervise maintenance staff, manage budgets, ensure safety compliance, and collaborate with departments to support an exceptional guest experience at a busy Wisconsin property.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and at least 5 years of experience in a related field, including prior management experience.
• Experience in a hotel or related field is required, with a trade license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Direct and supervise the Maintenance staff, overseeing the maintenance of buildings and grounds.
• Apply extensive experience in engineering, maintenance and related fields to ensure efficient operations.
• Evaluate and select among alternative courses of action quickly and accurately, handling problems effectively in high-pressure situations.
• Convey information and ideas clearly and effectively listen to and understand issues raised by co-workers and guests.
• Work with and understand financial information and data, including basic arithmetic functions to support maintenance operations.
• Develop and implement policies and procedures for maintenance requests, schedule maintenance and ensure compliance with regulations.
