Job summary

Embassy Suites by Hilton Cincinnati RiverCenter in Covington, KY seeks a Chief Engineer to keep all hotel systems running smoothly and guests happy. You’ll lead the engineering team, perform preventive maintenance, and manage safety and compliance across the property.

The role requires 5+ years in hotel maintenance and supervisory experience, with active certifications for HVAC, electrical, and pool operations. You’ll balance costs with reliability and support exceptional guest service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Relevant hotel maintenance experience with supervisory duties.
• Certifications for HVAC, pool or electrical work as applicable.
• Licenses to operate/repair boilers and chillers per local laws.
• Strong communication, decision-making and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain all guest rooms and public spaces to high standards.
• Lead, train, and schedule the engineering team for shifts.
• Perform safety inspections and drills to ensure compliance.
• Respond to maintenance requests and uphold guest service scores.
• Inspect grounds, manage Lost and Found, and keep areas orderly.
• Access sensitive areas responsibly and uphold company trust.
