Job summary

Marriott Columbus Downtown seeks a Director of Engineering to lead preventative and emergency maintenance programs across hotel facilities. You will oversee mechanical, electrical, HVAC, structural, and landscaping systems while ensuring compliance with company standards and codes.

Responsibilities include routine property walks, detailed inspections, and guiding short- and long-term engineering planning to support safe, efficient operations for guests and colleagues.

Qualifications

• Strong communication with team members and stakeholders.
• Keep accurate records of parts and equipment orders.
• Solid project management to create processes and meet deadlines.
• Ability to read and translate blueprints and electrical diagrams.
• Knowledge of applicable codes and regulatory requirements.
• Knowledge of general safety practices and maintenance equipment.
• Must have a valid driver's license.
