Job summary

Brookdale Senior Living is seeking a Director of Facilities Management (Finance) to oversee physical plant operations for large senior housing and healthcare campuses. Responsibilities include leading maintenance and housekeeping teams, managing budgets, and ensuring life-safety and regulatory compliance.

The role requires 5–7 years in multi-building campus facilities with supervisory experience; a degree in engineering or related field is a plus.

Qualifications

• 5–7 years progressively responsible experience in a multi-building campus.
• Minimum 5 years of supervisory/leadership experience.
• Associate's Degree or equivalent education required.
• Degree in engineering or related field a plus.
• Experience in senior living strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and direct a team of supervisors and frontline associates in maintenance and housekeeping.
• Oversee campus budgets, long-range five-year campus plans, and capital expenses.
• Ensure life safety, mechanical, electrical, fire & safety, plumbing, and waste management compliance.
• Develop and maintain vendor relations and manage contracts to meet community needs.
• Ensure projects are bid competitively and completed within budget and schedule.
