Job summary

Stone & Browning Property Management is seeking an experienced Director of Facilities to lead maintenance, renovations, cleaning, and facilities operations across a growing Vermont portfolio. The role involves reporting to the CEO and collaborating with the senior leadership team to align long-term facilities strategy with day-to-day operations.

The successful candidate will bring extensive experience with building systems, preventive maintenance, and regulatory compliance, plus a proven ability

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations, Construction, Property Management, Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum five years of facilities management or property operations experience.
• Three years in senior leadership with teams, budgets, and strategic planning.
• Strong knowledge of building systems, preventive maintenance, renovations, and regulatory compliance.
• Experience managing operating budgets, capital improvement plans, and vendor contracts.
• Familiarity with CMMS and property management platforms (AppFolio, Buildium, Yardi).
• Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
