Job summary

Sunrise Senior Living in Arlington, VA, seeks a Director of Facilities to lead operations across full-service communities, ensuring safe, clean, and welcoming environments for residents and staff.

You will supervise maintenance, housekeeping, security, and life-safety systems, manage budgets, vendor relations, and capital projects while training a dedicated facilities team to uphold the Sunrise standard of care.

Qualifications

• 3+ years facilities experience (HVAC, plumbing, electrical, codes).
• 2+ years supervisory experience.
• Knowledge of fire and life safety regulations.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and emergencies.

Responsibilities

• Manage department budget, labor, and expense controls
• Recruit, train, and develop facilities team members
