Job summary

Overlake School in Redmond, WA seeks a Director of Experiential Education to provide strategic leadership and oversee the design and execution of mission-driven, project-based learning for grades 5–12. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent required; master's preferred.
• 5+ years leading or coordinating experiential education or similar programs.
• Strong organizational and project-management skills with multiple stakeholders.
• Collaborative leadership, adaptable, student-centered and able to manage overnight travel.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership for the Experiential Education department.
• Plan, execute, and evaluate Service Learning, Outdoor Education, retreats, Field Studies, and Project Week.
• Coordinate logistics, travel, and risk management for programs.
• Oversee program budgets, vendor contracts, and purchasing processes.
• Develop communications to students, families, and employees.
• Ensure DEIB integration across programs and activities.
