Highgate is seeking a Director of Events for the Kimpton Miralina Resort in Paradise Valley, AZ. The role oversees Conference Services Managers and Catering Sales, directing post-turnover activities and financials to ensure profitability and quality across events.

You will market ideas, reduce turnover, manage budgets, and coordinate with all hotel departments to guarantee exceptional meetings and repeat business.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive hotel or related field experience.
• Proficient in Windows, spreadsheets, and word processing.
• Knowledge of F&B preparation techniques and health regulations.
• Flexible with long hours and weekend coverage.
• Ability to multitask and manage staff and events.

Responsibilities

• Manage existing accounts and solicit new business.
• Coordinate with departments to anticipate event needs.
• Oversee event setup with vendors and planners.
• Maintain pricing integrity and upscale menus.
• Lead post-event reports and profitability analysis.
