Job summary

Highgate Hotels, LP is seeking a Director of Engineering for the Kimpton Miralina Resort in Arizona. This role oversees all engineering operations, safety, preventive maintenance, budgeting, and vendor contracts to ensure safe and profitable hotel performance.

The position requires extensive facilities management experience in hospitality, strong leadership and budgeting skills, and the ability to coordinate with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Requires progressive facilities management experience in a hotel or related field.
• Demonstrated ability to manage budgets and schedules.
• Strong leadership, communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and train Engineering staff in customer service and SOPs.
• Create and post staff schedules per Highgate standards.
• Develop and manage annual department budget and financial forecasts.
• Implement maintenance plans for property, equipment and assets.
• Ensure compliance with applicable laws and Highgate standards.
• Lead energy conservation initiatives and safety programs.
• Participate in hotel safety committees and incident response.
