Job summary

White Door Events, a full‑service special events company in New Orleans, LA, is seeking a General Manager for a hands-on, on-site leadership role. You will oversee daily operations, supervise production processes, and collaborate with design consultants and sales teams to deliver exceptional events.

The role emphasizes budgeting, forecasting, and performance reporting, while maintaining high service standards, optimizing inventory and rentals, and ensuring compliance with company policies.

Qualifications

• Experience leading event management, production operations, or hospitality leadership.
• Strong people management and staffing oversight capabilities.
• Proficient budgeting, financial tracking, and operational planning skills.
• Excellent client relationships, contract oversight, and service quality monitoring.
• Ability to coordinate logistics for multiple events and oversee onsite execution.
• Detail-oriented documentation and process management.
• Strong communication with internal teams, vendors, and clients.
• Experience with inventory or rental management systems is a plus.
• On-site availability in New Orleans, including some evenings and weekends.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Hospitality Management, Event Management or equivalent work experience.
