Job summary

Cumming Group is seeking a Director of Estimating to lead estimating efforts for a high-profile life sciences client. The ideal candidate will estimate from early conceptual design through detailed construction documents and drive revenue growth across diverse services.

The role requires extensive experience in pharmaceutical or life sciences construction, exceptional client management, and leadership of cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• BS in Construction, Cost & Commercial Management, Engineering, Quantity Surveying or related field.
• 9–12 years in Cost & Commercial Management; 5+ years leading client expectations and managing a business unit.
• Certification: MRICS, AssocRICS, CCP, CEP, CPE or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Consult executive-level clientele, showcasing services that make Cumming an industry leader.
• Increase services to existing clientele and develop new revenue streams.
• Recruit and develop diverse and talented team members.
• Partner with service line leaders to provide an integrated project approach.
• Prepare fee proposals and negotiate professional services agreements.
• Provide QA to cost estimates and reports to senior management.
• Mentor and lead team development and growth initiatives.
