Vets Hired is seeking a Director of Network Services in Washington to provide leadership for network engineering, architecture, and enterprise solutions. You will steer design, modernization, and strategy to deliver scalable, secure, and reliable network services aligned to business goals.

The role leads engineering teams, collaborates with business units and technology teams, and drives transformation initiatives while managing budgets and portfolios in a dynamic enterprise environment.

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• 11+ years of network engineering or infrastructure experience (13+ years preferred).
• Strong expertise in switching, routing, and enterprise networking technologies.
• Experience with Cisco, Arista, or similar networking platforms.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Ansible and Terraform.
• Experience leading engineering teams and enterprise technology initiatives.
• Strong project management and portfolio management experience.
• Knowledge of Agile methodologies.
• Excellent leadership, communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience with network transformation, automation, and operational improvements.
