Sutherland is seeking a Sr. Director of Network Administration to lead the Americas network strategy and operations. The role oversees design, upgrade, and stability of wireless/wired networks, firewalls, switches, and cloud environments, with a focus on security and compliance.

You will manage a team of network engineers, collaborate with global teams, and partner with vendors to deliver scalable network services. Remote US work base encouraged.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree, required in Computer Science, Engineering or related field.
• Master’s degree, preferred in Computer Science, Business Management, or related field.
• Minimum of five (5) years managing a large, complex enterprise network.
• Strong understanding of network routing, switching, wireless, firewalls and SDWAN Technologies.
• CCNA or CCNP Certification, Active or Expired, and verifiable network project experience to match 5-10 years of active network leadership experience are highly desirable.
• Experience with software defined networks (SDN) and cloud environments are a plus.
• Experience with cloud-based telecom systems/technologies.
• Managing and mentoring network engineers.
• Architecting and designing large-scale networks.

Responsabilités

• Oversee network security, LAN, WAN, and Wireless architecture for the Americas region.
• Lead and direct a team of network engineers.
• Ensure availability, reliability, security, and performance targets are met.
• Develop and maintain network standards, policies, and documentation.
• Standardize network configurations across Americas regions.
• Develop and manage network designs from multiple infrastructure projects.
• Design and manage new/remodeled Sutherland facilities.
• Oversee network technology roadmap for all Americas regions.
• Collaborate with business units on strategic technical solutions.
• Provide Level 3 network support for the Americas region.
• Maintain security in coordination with Info Security teams.
• Participate in IT change control and communicate changes to stakeholders.
• Stay updated on technologies, standards, and industry trends.
• Ability to be on call and travel as needed.
