Job summary

Yavapai College is seeking a Director of IT Infrastructure Services to provide strategic leadership for enterprise IT infrastructure across all campuses. You will lead a team of admins and specialists, shaping the technology roadmap and modernization efforts in collaboration with the CIO and CISO.

Responsibilities include driving IT governance, ensuring security and availability, and managing budgets and vendor contracts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, or related field.
• Minimum of 8 years in enterprise IT infrastructure; at least 3 years in management.
• Strong knowledge of a wide range of infrastructure technologies and cloud services.
• Experience with ITSM frameworks and multi-year capital planning.

Responsibilities

• Strategic & Architectural Leadership: develop and communicate multi-year IT infrastructure strategy.
• Infrastructure Operations & Service Management: ensure high availability, monitoring, and ITSM processes.
• Disaster Recovery & Business Continuity: lead DR/BCP planning and testing.
• Security, Compliance & Risk Management: align with security policies and standards.
• Team Leadership & Professional Development: supervise and develop staff; ensure continuity.
• Budget, Procurement & Vendor Management: manage budgets and vendor relationships.
