Yavapai County Information Technology Services (ITS) seeks a Technology Unit Manager to lead a skilled team of systems engineers and service desk staff in Prescott. You will align IT services with county department needs, delivering secure, efficient solutions and outstanding customer support.

Responsibilities include enforcing IT policies, budgeting for the unit, RFP planning, staff development, and strategic collaboration with senior management and external vendors.

• Minimum five years of IT management and staff development experience.

Yavapai County Information Technology Services (ITS) is seeking a dynamic and experienced Technology Unit Manager to lead a dedicated team of IT professionals. In this position you will be managing a highly qualified team of systems engineers and service desk personnel. This role will be focused on leading the team to provide an exceptional customer service experience to our county departments. You will be working closely with our customers to understand their IT related business needs and find innovative, secure, and efficient solutions to their problems.

Education

Bachelor’s Degree in Information Systems or closely related field.

Experience

A minimum of five (5) years of experience in IT management, staff development, organizational budgeting, personnel management, and/or related field(s). An equivalent combination of directly related work experience and education may substitute for the degree requirement on a year-per-year basis.

Additional Requirements

Must possess a valid Arizona driver’s license.
