Job summary

Weatherford, a leading global energy services company, seeks a Director of Information Security in Houston to lead enterprise cybersecurity strategy, governance, and risk management across IT, OT, AI, and data environments.

The role partners with Infrastructure, Cloud, Legal, Compliance, Internal Audit, HR, and business leadership to embed IAM, data protection, and threat mitigation across all platforms while enabling business growth and digital transformation.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of progressive cybersecurity and technology leadership experience.
• Proven experience leading enterprise cybersecurity programs in large global organizations.
• Experience across Network Security, Infrastructure Security, Cloud Security, IAM, Data Security and Risk Management.
• Experience implementing IAM capabilities and data protection programs.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute the enterprise cybersecurity strategy and roadmap.
• Lead cybersecurity risk assessments and prioritize mitigation activities.
• Oversee Identity and Access Management, data protection, and DLP programs.
• Partner with HR, IT, and business leaders to enable secure AI adoption and governance.
• Provide executive reporting on cyber risk and security posture.
• Travel domestically and internationally up to 10–25%.
