Qualifications

• 10+ years in architecture, engineering, or tech leadership in regulated life sciences or biotech.
• Production systems at enterprise scale with hands-on fluency in patterns and tradeoffs.
• Knowledge of privacy, governance, and AI governance expectations for regulated data.
• Experience with regulated data domains such as clinical, regulatory, safety, manufacturing, and commercial.
• Ability to define reference architectures, standards, reusable patterns, and governance for enterprise data/AI/platform environments.

Responsibilities

• Define enterprise reference architectures and technical standards for data, AI, integration, and data governance across the platform.
• Own the Gate 0 architecture review process, including vendor AI assessments and architecture decision records.
• Prototype and pressure-test architecture decisions with engineering teams and translate working builds into reusable patterns.
• Design the enforcement layer for enterprise data governance including lineage, catalog, and data quality controls.
• Establish scalable patterns across regulatory domains so governed data remains consistent.
• Define integration, retrieval, authorization, identity propagation, and audit patterns for AI-enabled systems.
• Partner with AI, analytics, platform, security, and business tech leaders to align architecture with regulated life sciences requirements.
