Job summary

Amgen seeks a Senior Director, AI Solution Architecture to define and lead enterprise AI strategy, translating complex business needs into scalable AI products, platforms, and capabilities. You will partner with senior leaders to scope large-scale AI initiatives and develop blueprints that connect objectives, data assets, platforms, governance, and ROI.

The role requires 12+ years in AI/ML/enterprise architecture with leadership, preferably in biotech or regulated industries; experience in

Qualifications

PhD/Masters/BS with extensive AI/ML experience (as specified).
Ability to translate business needs into scalable AI solutions.

Responsibilities

Define and lead Amgen’s enterprise AI solution architecture strategy.
Co-create high-impact AI solutions with cross-functional stakeholders across R&D, Operations, Commercial, and corporate functions.
Partner with senior leaders to scope large-scale AI initiatives and decompose opportunities into executable pathways.
Develop blueprints connecting business objectives, data assets, platform capabilities, governance, and ROI.
Assess feasibility, data readiness, operating model requirements, and adoption pathways.
Collaborate with engineering, product, security, and compliance teams to deliver production-ready solutions.
Establish reusable standards and lead a high-performing AI solution architecture function.
