Job summary

Amgen seeks a Senior Director, AI Solution Architecture to define and lead its enterprise AI solution architecture strategy. You will translate complex business needs into scalable AI products, platforms, and capabilities across R&D, Operations, Commercial, and corporate functions.

You will build reusable patterns, partner with senior leaders, and drive value realization with measurable ROI while ensuring governance and responsible AI practices across the organization.

Qualifications

• PhD with 4+ years of AI/ML, data science, or related field; or MSc with 6 years; or BSc with 8 years and relevant leadership.
• 4+ years of direct managerial experience, including managing managers or senior technical leaders.

Responsibilities

• Co-create high-impact AI solutions with cross-functional stakeholders.
• Partner with senior leaders to scope large-scale AI initiatives into executable pathways.
• Develop blueprints connecting business objectives, AI methods, data, and governance.
• Assess feasibility, ROI, data readiness, and adoption pathways for AI initiatives.
• Ensure solutions are scalable, secure, and production-ready with cross-functional teams.
• Establish standards for AI solution intake, valuation, and delivery readiness.
• Lead the AI solution architecture team and develop talent.
