Lamb Weston in Kennewick, WA seeks a Director of Engineering Technical Support to lead the Technical Support department and its SMEs. You will shape reliability strategies, oversee capital planning, and align engineering disciplines with operations to improve asset availability.

Responsibilities include budgeting, strategic direction, and cross-functional collaboration with IT and Global Engineering to drive safe, efficient manufacturing and continued technological advancement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in Engineering, Management, or related discipline.
• 15+ years of experience in project, engineering or operations management.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules and technical documentation.
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
• Ability to communicate and present effectively at all levels of the organization.
• Proficiency with Windows-based systems including Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
• Understanding of Instrumentation, PLCs, SCADA, and advanced control software.

Responsibilities

• Direct management of the Technical Support department teams.
• Maintain talent levels and succession planning to ensure continuity.
• Direct Technical Support SMEs to develop reliability strategies and processes.
• Create long-term strategic direction for technical areas of responsibility.
• Prepare department budget and forecast spend within guidelines.
• Lead capital planning to address obsolescence and project challenges.
• Serve as liaison between Technical Support, IT, and Global Engineering; support IT-OT convergence.
