Job summary

Lamb Weston in Kennewick, WA seeks a Project Manager Engineering to lead diverse capital projects from concept through startup. You will partner with engineering, operations and procurement to develop scope, budgets and schedules.

The role requires at least 5 years in project management or plant engineering with CapEx experience, plus strong communication and problem-solving skills. Travel up to 50% and familiarity with food manufacturing are a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering required.
• Minimum 5 years practical experience as a Project Manager, Sr. Engineer, or Plant Engineering Manager.
• Experience leading diverse teams in a matrix environment.
• Knowledge of plant engineering, maintenance and operations.
• Strong communication, analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage and direct projects of varying size and scope.
• Develop budgets, design capital plans and cost justifications.
• Prepare CIRs and project reviews.
• Lead cross-functional teams including Safety, Quality and Operations.
• Coordinate with Procurement and Plant staff; travel up to 50%.
• Ensure project outcomes meet quality, cost and schedule targets.
