Job summary

Marriott Vacations Worldwide in Palm Springs, CA is seeking an exempt, salaried Engineer/Maintenance Supervisor. The role manages repair work orders, maintains safety standards, and leads preventative maintenance programs. A high school diploma or GED with 4 years in engineering/maintenance is required, or a 2-year degree with 2 years’ experience.

Driving may be required and relocation assistance is available. Salary range 65,000–72,000 USD plus bonus eligibility.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with 4 years' experience in engineering and maintenance or related professional area; HVAC-R/electrical/plumbing training.
• 2-year degree in Building and Construction, Engineering, Mechanics or related major with 2 years' experience in engineering and maintenance or related professional area; HVAC-R/electrical/plumbing training.

Responsibilities

• Supervises distribution of repair work orders.
• Ensures property policies are administered fairly and consistently.
• Assists in planning, scheduling and evaluating preventative maintenance programs.
• Maintains open, collaborative relationships with associates.
• Monitors timeliness and quality of repair work orders.
• Assists in managing the physical plant including HVAC, refrigeration, plumbing, electrical and life safety systems.
• Provides emergency response services 24/7.
• Empowers associates to deliver excellent customer service.
• Participates in interviewing and hiring of team members and trains new associates.

Education
