Job summary

Marriott Vacations Worldwide is seeking a Senior Maintenance/Engineering Supervisor in Hawaii to lead engineering operations and ensure facility reliability. You will oversee repair work orders, safety compliance, and preventative maintenance programs across the property.

The role requires a strong background in HVAC-R, electrical, and plumbing with 4 years of maintenance experience and a 2-year degree. Relocation assistance is available for qualified candidates.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; 4 years' experience in the engineering and maintenance or related professional area; HVAC-R/electrical/plumbing training.
• 2-year degree from an accredited university in Building and Construction, Engineering, Mechanics, or related major; 2 years' experience in the engineering and maintenance or related professional area; HVAC-R/electrical/plumbing training.

Responsibilities

• Supervises distribution of repair work orders.
• Ensures property policies are administered fairly and consistently.
• Assists in planning, scheduling and evaluating preventative maintenance programs.
• Maintains open, collaborative relationships with associates.
• Monitors timeliness and quality of repair work orders.
• Supervises Engineering and related areas in absence of the Director of Engineering.
• Manages the physical plant including equipment, refrigeration, HVAC, plumbing, water treatment, electrical and life safety systems.
• Ensures ongoing communication with associates about business objectives and expectations.
• Recommends or arranges for additional services such as painting, renovations, or furnishing replacements.
• Selects and orders new equipment, supplies, and furnishings.
• Supervises day-to-day operations of Engineering and related departments.
