Job summary

Acrisure is seeking a Director of Operations for Employee Benefits to lead the region’s operational health and client experience. You will partner with senior leaders to optimize client retention, growth, and service quality while driving talent development and technology adoption.

This on-site role requires an insurance license and extensive experience in insurance/financial services. Compensation ranges from $175,000 to $245,000 with travel up to 40%.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration or related field.
• Must currently hold an active insurance license.
• Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in the insurance and/or financial services industries.
• Minimum of 5 years of industry related leadership experience in insurance operations, management, and/or insurance administration.
• Proven record of driving operational excellence and efficiency in service of dynamic client experiences.
• Experience supporting business development lifecycle.
• Self-motivating and able to motivate others in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Excellent business and people decision-making skills and problem-solving abilities.
• Model positive energy and handle stress in the face of challenges, deadlines, and aggressive financial commitments.
• Excellent leadership and coaching ability.
• Adept at cultivating and growing productive, long-term customer relationships.

• Client Retention: execute retention strategies through talent and streamlined workflows.
• Client Growth: execute cross-functional strategies for optimized placement and total client experience.

• Process improvement/technology oversight: identify opportunities for automation and digital transformation.
• Customer experience and satisfaction: ensure accessible, user-friendly employee benefits offerings.
• Operational excellence: manage processes, resources, policies, and cross-department collaboration.
• Sustained optimization: adopt new processes and evaluate external vendors for performance.
• Performance Monitoring: track KPIs and performance data to drive improvements.
• Risk Management: mitigate operational and insurance-related risks and ensure compliance.
• Financial Partnership: monitor financial performance and inform budgeting decisions.
• M&A: provide guidance on risks and post-acquisition integration.
