Job summary

Acrisure is seeking a Director of Operations, Employee Benefits to report to the Head of Operations for the Central/West region. This role drives client retention, revenue growth, and exceptional client experiences by leading talent, optimizing processes, and leveraging technology across the employee benefits department.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and must hold an active insurance license.
• Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in the insurance and/or financial services industries.
• Minimum of 5 years of leadership experience in insurance operations, management, or administration.

Responsibilities

• Client Retention: execute retention strategies through talent development and optimized workflows.
• Client Growth: drive cross-functional strategies to optimize placement and deliver a total client experience.
• Culture and talent: promote leadership and talent development within the benefits department.
• Process improvement/technology oversight: identify opportunities for automation and digital transformation.
• Customer experience and satisfaction: ensure accessible, user-friendly benefits with high NPS.
• Operational excellence: manage processes and align with growth strategies across departments.
• Sustained optimization: adopt new processes and evaluate external vendors for partnerships.
• Performance Monitoring: track KPIs and take corrective actions as needed.
• Risk Management: mitigate operational and regulatory risks within the department.
• Financial Partnership: monitor financial performance and support budgeting decisions.
• M&A: provide guidance on risks and integration post-acquisition.
