The position emphasizes regulatory compliance, staff engagement, and continuous improvement of core measures in a major trauma center setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in a related field.
• Master's degree preferred in related field.
• Five to seven years of clinical emergency nursing experience.
• Minimum 3 years acute care nursing leadership experience in Emergency.
• Current RN license in the State.
• BLS/CPR certification, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate delivery of patient care with 24 hour ED responsibility.
• Provide administrative direction for development and evaluation of nursing personnel.
• Maintain operational aspects of the patient care unit in collaboration with support services.
• Drive initiatives to improve core measures and Joint Commission standards.
• Maintain dialogue with staff, lead new initiatives and ensure fair practice.
