Job summary

Inland Valley Hospital in Wildomar, CA, invites a Director of Emergency Services to lead the 24/7 ED operations at a designated Trauma Center. The role oversees nursing personnel, supports JC initiatives, and drives patient and staff satisfaction with proactive leadership.

The ideal candidate has 5–7 years of Emergency nursing experience and at least 3 years of acute care nursing leadership, with a Bachelor’s degree and a preferred Master’s degree.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in a related field.
• Master's degree preferred.
• 5–7 years of clinical experience in Emergency as a Registered Nurse.
• Minimum 3 years acute care nursing leadership experience in Emergency.

Responsibilities

• Participates in Emergency Preparedness, including drills and duties.
• Facilitates departmental and hospital educational activities with Education Department.
• Responsible for development, review and revision of departmental written policies.
• Ensures the department has equipment and supplies needed to deliver quality service.
