Job summary

Combined Metals Company, LLC, in Illinois, seeks a Director of Environment, Health and Safety to lead company-wide EHS programs across multiple manufacturing sites. You will drive OSHA, EPA, NFPA, DOT compliance, develop policies, training, and audits, and promote a culture of safety and continuous improvement.

You will coach Safety Managers, oversee workers’ compensation processes, and coordinate with senior management on safety budgets and governance. Travel up to 10% locally will be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health & Safety or related field.
• CSP or Industrial Hygienist (CIH) or Environmental (REM) desired.
• Experience with OSHA, EPA regulatory requirements and EHS risk management.

Responsibilities

• Develops and supports EHS policies, procedures, and programs to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
• Establishes strategy to manage environmental and safety compliance across all Business Units.
• Drives safety training programs and annual training calendars; communicates monthly safety performance.
