Director of Dining Services Responsibilities

• Oversee the daily operations of the dining services department, including menu planning, food preparation, and service delivery
• Manage a team of cooks, servers, and other dining staff to ensure high-quality service and customer satisfaction
• Develop and implement menus that meet the dietary needs and preferences of our residents and patients
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and company policies
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless service and minimize conflicts
• Conduct performance evaluations and provide coaching and development opportunities to team members
• Monitor and control food costs, labor costs, and inventory levels
• Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure efficient and effective operations

Director of Dining Services Requirements

• 1+ years of experience in a culinary management role, preferably in a healthcare or senior living setting
• High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in hospitality, culinary arts, or a related field preferred
• Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
• Familiarity with food safety and sanitation protocols and regulations
