Job summary

Vi Living is seeking a Director of Dining Services to direct all dining operations across Vi's care venues, joining the community's management team and ensuring a high-quality, welcoming experience for Residents and guests. The ideal candidate brings 10 years in quality food & beverage operations with strong budgeting, training, and staff-management skills.

A Bachelor's degree in Hotel/Restaurant Management or Business is preferred, with health/sanitation certification and CDM/CFBE credentials

Qualifications

• 10 years of progressive experience in F&B operations management.
• Experience with budgets, reporting, training and staff management.
• State health and sanitation certification is required.
• CDM and CFBE are a plus; CPR/First Aid certified or willing to become so.
• Some college with a Bachelor's preferred in related fields.

Responsibilities

• Direct all aspects of dining services across Vi's care venues.
• Lead management team and ensure a high quality welcoming experience for Residents and guests.
• Oversee budgets, reporting and staff training programs.
• Ensure health, sanitation and safety standards are met.
• Collaborate with operations and support teams to optimize service delivery.

Responsibilities

Director of Dining Services

A desirable opportunity exists for a highly accomplished professional to direct all aspects of dining services in all food and beverage operations including Vi's care venues. The selected candidate is part of the community's management team and will have significant responsibility for ensuring a high quality welcoming experience for Residents and guests.

Qualifications

Qualified applicants will possess 10 years of progressive experience in quality Food & Beverages operations management in a high quality restaurant, country club, hotel, or senior living company including oversight of multiple Food & Beverages venues. Demonstrated knowledge with budgets, reporting, training and staff management skills is required. Current state health and sanitation certification is required. Certified Dietary Manager (CDM) designation is a plus. Possess or be willing to obtain CDM and Certified Food and Beverage Executive (CFBE), as required. Current CPR and First Aid certifications are required or must be willing and able to become CPR and First Aid certified. Some College is required. Bachelor's Degree in related field (Hotel/Restaurant Management or Business) is preferred.

• Ability to supervise, hire, train and motivate staff
• A strong systems orientation with Microsoft office skills and experience with a POS system
• Effective communication, financial acumen, social skills and standards appropriate for the operation of formal dining operations Effective communication
