Job summary

Vi Living in Palo Alto is seeking a Dining Room Manager to oversee all Vi dining venues, including the Care Center, ensuring residents and guests enjoy a consistently high-quality dining experience.

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years in quality Food & Beverage operations within upscale restaurants, clubs, hotels, or retirement communities, with strong budgeting and service-style knowledge and proven staff leadership.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in quality Food & Beverage operations management in a high-quality restaurant, country club, hotel, or senior living company.
• Knowledge of current service styles and budgets/reporting.
• High school diploma required; college degree in Hotel/Restaurant Management or Business preferred.
• Food Handlers certification required or willing to obtain.
• Current CPR and First Aid certifications required or willing to become CPR and First Aid certified.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all Vi dining venues, including the Care Center, ensuring staff deliver a high-quality dining experience for Residents and guests.
• Manage staff development, training and high-performing team dynamics; ensure standards and procedures are followed.
